However, it is necessary to avoid adding a large amount of carbon to the molten iron, so as to avoid excessive oxidation and the occurrence of insignificant carbon increasing effects and insufficient carbon content. The addition amount is determined according to the proportion of other raw materials and the carbon content. For various cast irons, various types of recarburizers can be selected according to needs. The recarburization process uses pure carbon-containing graphitized substances to reduce excessive impurities in the pig iron. The appropriate selection of the recarburization process can reduce the production cost of castings.

1. The recarburizer composition of anthracite should be distinguished by the content of nitrogen, and it is important to choose what grade of nitrogen should be used when using it!! Generally speaking, we use an intermediate frequency furnace with 60% scrap steel , For smelting pig iron, because the harmful factors such as titanium are very low, low nitrogen recarburizer should be used.

2. The graphitized carbon agent is not good. After adding molten steel, the digestibility is low and the speed is slow; the second is more broken slag; and the third is the harm of other harmful elements to the quality of molten steel.

3. Anthracite carbon increase management method. Many friends in the community forum have talked about increasing carbon increase in the early, mid and late development process of smelting and feeding of heating furnace, and adding carbon to scrap steel also needs to increase carbon.
